Date

From September 21-25, Brian Miller, NC CASC/USGS Research Ecologist, along with Danika Mosher and Brecken Robb from the NPS Climate Change Response Program and Denver Service Center, are co-facilitating a remote workshop on climate change scenario planning for the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. This is part of a broader effort to develop an NPS Resource Stewardship Strategy for the the park. The workshop aims to identify: (1) implications of non-climate and climate change stressors on natural and cultural resources, and (2) preliminary climate-smart stewardship goals.
