NC CASC 2025 Consortium Meeting
Date
The NC CASC team and partners recently gathered in Boulder, CO for a three-day meeting to reflect on the first year of our renewed Cooperative Agreement with USGS and strategically plan our activities in Year 2.
In attendance were partners from the NC CASC Host Team at the University of Colorado Boulder, the NC CASC-USGS Team, and the NC CASC Consortium Partner institutions: University of Wyoming, Great Plains Tribal Water Alliance, South Dakota State University, Colorado State University, University of Montana, and The Nature Conservancy.
The three-day meeting also featured student presentations for the Rapid Climate Assessment Program (RCAP), a communications training, and a workshop to brainstorm sagebrush management challenges as well as methods for developing decision trees to guide resource management decisions. These sessions provided valuable opportunities to build skills, share knowledge, and co-develop tools that will inform our work moving forward.
We appreciate the opportunity to connect with our partners in person and look forward to continuing our work supporting resource managers in the North Central region as they adapt to a changing world.
