Lisa Dilling

Lisa Dilling is the Associate Chief Scientist at the Environmental Defense Fund, as well as an affiliate of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) in Environmental Studies. Dilling's scholarship focuses on decision making, the use of information, and science policy, to understand how we can best manage climate and weather risks. Her research topics include drought and urban water management, climate adaptation in cities and on public lands, carbon management, and geoengineering governance. Dilling holds a PhD in biology from the University of California Santa Barbara. Read more about her here.
