In Part I of the 2023/24 NC CASC SciComm Training modules, learn how to create effective presentations. Some of the topics covered include: how to engage your audience by splitting your talks into segments; how to make the talk about your audience and not you; how to effectively communicate your message and initiate a “call-to-action”; and how to use visuals and analogies effectively. At the end of the presentation, a tangible will be provided to all registrants in the form of a list of helpful resources and links.
