Aparna Bamzai-Dodson, Imtiaz Rangwala, and James Rattling Leaf, Sr. from the NC CASC attended the NOAA/NIDIS Drought Assessment in a Changing Climate workshop in March 2023. The final report from this workshop, Drought Assessment in a Changing Climate: Priority Actions and Research Needs, went online last week! 

The report, titled "Drought Assessment in a Changing Climate: Priority Actions and Research Needs," covers topics such as ensuring equity in drought monitoring and assessment, learning with Indigenous communities, addressing regional differences, and quantifying water demand in a changing climate.
