NC CASC/USGS ecologist, Brian Miller, presented at the Midwest CASC’s “Grad Student and Postdoc Training: Climate Adaptation Planning” webinar on February 14, along with Tyler Kaspar, an environmental biologist with the 1854 Treaty Authority, and Olivia Dorow Hovland, a sustainability planner for the City of Coon Rapids, MN. For his portion of the talk, titled “Climate Change Adaptation through Scenario Planning: Innovations from U.S. National Parks,” Brian discussed perspectives on pursuing real-world responses to climate change for climate adaptation planning.
