Request for Public Comment on the Annotated Outlines of the Fifth National Climate Assessment

Date

NOAA, on behalf of the U.S. Global Change Research Program, has issued a Federal Register Notice seeking public feedback on the annotated outlines of each chapter of the Fifth National Climate Assessment. The annotated outlines can be accessed by visiting USGCRP’s Review and Comment System. This opportunity runs through February 20, 2022.

The assessment will highlight the risks climate change poses to a number of national-level topics and 10 regions of the United States, focusing on scientific advancements since the release of the last assessment. The feedback received through this public comment period will be used by author teams as they develop their draft chapter.

People wishing to participate in the public comment period must submit their comments via the USGCRP Review and Comment System by 11:59 PM ET on February 20, 2022. For more information on this open call, please see the Federal Register Notice.
