Jane Wolken (she/her) is a boreal forest ecologist that is passionate about collaborative solutions-focused research, knowledge sharing, and improving diversity and inclusivity in academia. As University Deputy Director of the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center, she works at the nexus of climate science research, program coordination and science communication. Jane’s research experience includes climate adaptation, forest ecology, silviculture and forest health. She received her Ph.D. in Forest Biology and Management from the University of Alberta. When not at work you can find Jane out running, biking, hiking, and skiing with her family.
