NC CASC Scientists and Partners Speaking at North American Congress for Conservation Biology

The North American Congress for Conservation Biology’s 2024 conference will take place from June 23-28 in Vancouver, BC - and several NC CASC scientists and partners have been involved in organizing a conference symposium session. 

 

Titled “Exploring ecological future: Emerging science and practice for informing climate adaptation in an uncertain world,” the symposium will give background on scenario-based approaches in natural resource management and share lessons learned from case studies across management agencies. 

 

Kyra Clark-Wolf (NC CASC), Wynne Moss (USGS Northern Rocky Mountain Research Center), and Imtiaz Rangwala (NC CASC) will be serving as session chairs. Brian Miller (USGS), Meagan Oldfather (USGS), Kyra Clark-Wolf, and Wynne Moss will also be speaking at the event alongside colleagues Koren Nydick (National Parks Service) and Jennifer Wilkening (US Fish and Wildlife Service).
