Will Crawford is a masters student in the Environmental Studies program at CU Boulder. He was accepted into the Tribal Climate Leaders program and joined the NC CASC in August 2020. Coupled with his Dakota cultural knowledge and background in science education, Will is interested in studying the implementation of prairie restoration projects to work towards climate adaption, resiliency, and sustainability on tribal lands. As a student, he also aims to develop more skills as an educator. Will enjoys gardening, running, playing the traditional Dakota flute, dancing at powwows, and traveling.
