Overview of Tribal CASC Partnerships in the North Central region

This session will highlight various ways the NC CASC supports and works with Tribal Resource Managers to address climate change by focusing on three specific projects where the NC CASC has been involved:

  • TEK Paleo Ecology Project with the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe
  • Climate Adaptation Workshops led by Sac and Fox Tribes of Nebraska and Kansas
  • Climate Adaptation Planning with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe
  •

The NC CASC aims to meet Tribal Resource Managers where they are by creating relationships and addressing needs for their work on the ground. The example projects highlight how we manage objectives and suggest ideas for how Tribal Managers in the region might partner with the NC CASC in the future.
