Caitlin White is a Postdoctoral Associate with the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center (NC CASC). She specializes in community and invasion ecology, native plant restoration, and the effects of climate variability and natural disturbances on plant communities.
Through her academic research and professional history, Caitlin is experienced working with federal, state, and local resource agencies, as well as environmental non-profits, across a variety of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. A statistics and programming enthusiast, she especially enjoys leveraging observational data to address applied science questions and inform natural resource management.
