Courtney Schultz

Courtney Schultz is Professor of Forest and Natural Resource Policy. Her work focuses on topics at the intersection of science and policy, including policy innovations to support collaborative landscape restoration, effective fire management, and climate change adaptation on US forestlands. She serves as the Director for the CSU Climate Initiative (CCI), which supports Colorado State University’s strategic investment to become a leading educational institution for climate education, research, and engagement in the United States and globally, and leads the CSU Climate Adaptation Partnership (CAP), which coordinates and accelerates interdisciplinary research and facilitates science-informed, just, and holistic social and ecological adaptation policies in a changing climate.
