Applications now open for the FY 2024 Tribal Climate Resilience Annual Awards Program

According to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), “The Branch of Tribal Climate Resilience (TCR) provides financial support for federally recognized Tribal Nations and authorized Tribal organizations through a competitive funding opportunity to address current and future climate change impacts on Tribal Treaty and Trust resources, economies, regenerative agriculture and food sovereignty, conservation practices, infrastructure, and human health and safety.”

For FY 2024, over $120 million will be awarded across the following three categories: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, and (3) Relocation, Managed Retreat, Protect-in-Place (RMP) Staff.
