The NC CASC is happy to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day today, October 14. We celebrate and honor the connection Indigenous Peoples have with their cultural lands, including the lands where we live and work today.
Today and all days, we would like to recognize the work of Kynser Wahwahsuck Bell and Janna Black, Tribal Climate Resilience Liaisons; James Rattling Leaf, Sr., NC CASC Tribal Engagement Specialist; the Great Plains Tribal Water Alliance, consortium partner to the NC CASC; and all Tribal rights holders in the North Central region and beyond.
